Just half the series has been over and you say India is no longer a good cricketing nation??
LMAO!!!
Please tell me who is at the no. 1 spot in the test rankings?

how long for tho? You cant rely on Sachin forever..your a one man team

posted on 2/8/11

1 man team???
Lol.
We have some of the best youngsters coming through. Now don't tell me to name them. The whole space will prove to be insufficient.

posted on 2/8/11

Maybe you should try some of those youngsters, cause the oldies are getting their behinds kicked

So guys what are your predictions for the series?

england are currently top of the rankings.

the icc will update the table at the end of this series.

plug the numbers in if you want. 2-0 to england means england are currently top.

just because the icc haven't updated the table doesn't mean england aren't already top.

it's like saying well mutd weren't top of the premier league after 37 games as we had to wait until all 38 games were over!

So guys what are your predictions for the series?

-----
4:0 and haven't changed that thought for the past 2 years

posted on 2/8/11

The only way India can win a test match is if they borrow Imran Khans milk bottle top!

posted on 2/8/11

Redindian - you know that I predicted 2-1 with you to win the next test. But tbh i am thinking more along the 4-0 that Maksi just predicted because you guys were VERY POOR! Youngsters?Raina and Mukund typical of them because they hardly excelled did they? Once some of your older players finished, boy, are you guys going to dissapear down that Test table faster than we got wickets the other day

"We have some of the best youngsters coming through."

I would love it if you were talking about Mukund, Raina and Yuvraj

This Indian team is so talented i think we all agree, but i think it lacks fight, fitness and preparation...

England "WILL" win one or both of the two remaining tests...

posted on 2/8/11

all what i said to swamy on the old 606 as come true.I just cant see India bowling England out cheaply and quickly enough to win a test match.. If the weather is fine and wicket flat at Birmingham. England are likely to have one partnership of 300 and that will be it . No chance of a win for India..

don't think zaheer will be ready in time for the next test, & sehwag needs playing time....think india may well be knocked off top spot....just wouldn't want a 4-0 drubbing though...

posted on 3/8/11

It'll be 3-0 or 4-0.

England are on this crusade to obliterate their opponents, much like the aussies did a decade or so back.

England are in such a dominant position over India even if Sehwag, Khan, Gambhir return they'll be smashed into submission, too.
Sehwag is a flat track bully and won't be able to cope with the pace, swing, seam, finesse or aggression of the 5 or 6 fast bowlers England have at their disposal.
Swann had an, out-of-character, quiet test but he'll come roaring back no doubt...

Hopefully Strauss and Cook can get a 50 or 100 each and restore their confidence, but, even if they don't then we know the depth, talent and scoring ability from 3 through to 10.

What's more, come october this year, England will go to India and batter them in their own back yard.

Happy days

(FFS, even Warne's impressed and likened the current England side to the great Oz side he played in)
