inter i think us as town fans want too much we just arent gonna sign a striker whos proven competent at scoring 25 plus goals a season. pacey and and hold the ball up well.

we may find a decent player with them attributes in the champ but not in league 1.

as for killer i liked his determination and desire to get around the pitch and win the ball back. his effort and energy levels for me were a class act but his distribution of the ball was very poor just not sure why. maybe headless chicken arfield didnt help him by running off leaving him with no centre mid partner. who knows!

Town beat Donny 2-1 yesterday, Arfield and Novak [again] grabbing the goals, but I don't know what the full team that played was.

Killer was awful in his time here in my opinion, started against Wednesday with lots of promise but quickly went downhill. Couldn't pass to a teammate, couldn't time a tackle, way too slow to get back when the ball had passed him. He could however win a header and his defensive positioning was good.

As for strikers, I've a sneaky feeling we might get someone in on loan before too long...

I don't know who exactly, but I know we're in the market for a striker on loan. I would guess Clark is doing all he can to bring Afobe back until it's physically impossible, and will then look elsewhere. I do however know for certain we will bring someone in on loan...

Was speaking to my friend who is a DCFC supporter, he wasn't happy with the signing and failed to see where he would be needed or fit in especially considering he wasn't playing beyond a League 1 position last year. Personally he failed to impress me also and I don't wish him upon other teams, but more fool them.

So according to Inter, we've sold 3 season tickets so far ! I reckon we'll reach around the 7k mark in terms of season tickets sold, although the general consensus is we'll be pushing for a top 2 spot, a lot of people were hit hard by the playoff final defeat after the last couple of seasons. The gates will soon pick up if we get off to a good start though.

sheffield wednesday seem to be having a few lets say teething problems ahead of the new season

You cud go on the town website, seat plan in the ticketing section and calculate the unavailable seats for the bury game..that wud roughly give you season ticket sales...mind you we did this for B'muff game and worked out 20,000 were unavailable, but the gate was 16,000....confused ? You should be.

its apparently just under 8k... i got 6 so ive done my bit..its clear a lot of clubs ars- about with the actual attendances at games.. town are no different, go to some games where the "attendance" fugure is given as 12 thousand something, then another game where the ground looks/sounds a good deal fuller and the figure is about the same????
