It'll take a monumental effort from Judd to turn this one around.

It's not over yet there have been many great comebacks in the Crucible before.1992 World final the special one was14-8 down to Jimmy and came back to win 18-14. Not that I watched that match as I was like 3 years old lol.

2003 World semi final: Ken Doherty was 15-9 down to Paul Hunter and somehow came back to win 17-16.

Arsenal, they weren't playing Ronnie, hell bent on winning a 5th World title, the cocky little boy is being shown up by the master!

I'm not sure Ronnie v Judd will go all the way. I hope it does because it's by far the better semi-final but I think Ronnie is too strong for him.

Walden and Hawkins are first up today at 1000. Can't imagine too many people are overly-excited about that one again!

If or when Ronnie makes it, he will almost definitely become World Champion again,

This is like the FA Cup Semi Finals this year.

Yeah they are a bit.

As these two semis have been going on for the last two days, I can't help but think Ronnie or Judd will absolutely tear through their opponent in the final tomorrow and Monday.

RKW - there does seem to be an air of inevitability that the winner of the Ronnie/Judd match will be a convincing winner in the final. That's why I personally hope that Walden comes through, because of the 2 he has the tools to make it a decent final, and if he plays the match of his life, could maybe win it. With Hawkins, I think his story will be that he made the semis, because it's hard to envisage Ronnie/Judd playing as poorly as say Ding did in the QFs - Hawkins just doesn't have the tools over the 2 days to make a significant impact.

So Hawkins is the tip

Walden looks in prime position to win this semi-final. Hawkins has struggled throughout and it's not like he's just had a bad day or bad session, he's been poor right from the start up until present.

Morning

So then, anyone on currently?

Walden and Hawkins at the mid-session interval. Walden leading 12-8, four more frames to play before they conclude the match tonight.

Ronnie v Judd at 1430.

Think I'll watch Walden v Hawkins (obviously) then in about 5 minutes when the mid session interval is over or something like that.
