Both complement each other really well. If verm can get his form bk we will have 3 excellent CB however Verm and Kos cannot play together so maybe we could ship out verm.

Think too that this is our best pair in the CB position at the moment. Good to have a Vermaelen right behind.

There were shaky moments but they got the job done.

I really liked Arteta today. His experience and reading really showed - how he kept tracking back without going into silly tackles, just holding position to slow down Fulham's attacks and allow others to get back into position.

If we get an offer around 10-12m for vermaelen I would sell him, his arsenal future looks very bleak

HMNIG we need 4 cb's thoough, doubt we will sign 2 so we need 1 without selling anybody.

Koscielny's problem was always mental. I'm still not convinced yet.
Needs to do it for longer.

HMNISG has been playing too much football manager. I actually believe this is Arsenal best defensive pair. We need to keep Vermaelen because we need 4 top centre backs in the squad for next season.

Koscielny did it all last season, he is playing at a slightly higher level in this 2nd half of the season, showing why he is our best center back.

Look I am saying if get a 10-12m for vermaelen I would sell him, I can't see an arsenal future for him best to cash in on him and invest into a different option

No point selling defensive players when we have a stable defensive unit. We want to keep that cohesion. We are joint 3rd defensively with United, and this is in spite of having santos on the left wing and sagna injured during the first part of the season. It bodes well

As if selling Vermaelen would be a good idea! We need a squad not a first eleven. Some fans whinge about not having good enough players yet they want rid of sagna, verm, chez etc (doh)

There were a few times today Mert covering cleared up some mistakes by Kos. Todays performance did nothing for the argument that Kos is better than Verm
