The European run was part of a good season, FFS, the last 16, a league title, a cup semi final and in 1 final, great chance to win it, still not a great season though

Without Europe it would have been a pi$h season, and fans would have been on Lennon's back a bit.

Its true Europe distracted them, but by fck they did no too badly in Europe, and that CANT be taken away or out of the equation as you keep trying to do.

Nearly every team that has a good season in europe suffers a little bit domestically.....many times did us bears have a cracking game midweek in europe than come crashing down with a draw or defeat to a bottom end SPL team the weekedn afterwards??

Bottom line is, the 'tic didnt have to be stellar at home because they were in Europe...they had to be stellar in Europe because that was their pinnacle this season, their top end, their proving ground, and they did no too bad at all
