No chance of town getting him or beckford next season , town just won't pay the going rate , dean will say something like we can't take the risk with them both due to injures or say they are too old or too young , he'll think of something to stop spending money . And then watch em both bang goals in week in week out for someone els .

2,25 mill !

I've picked my House, Car & Boat,
The 'Gite' would be a 'fun Project'
riding here & there would be a given.....

What a dream,
trouble is,
It's reality for this Berg fella, apart from the terrific wages he'd have been on as a player....So the House, Car & retirement plan would be in place anyway.....

THAT'S why it's 25 quid to watch a Game

Football is just a microcosm of UK Society.

Vaughan wants to come back to Town but the major stumbling blocks are
1) will Dean pay out such a large fee
2) will Vaughan take a pay cut.

1) NO.
2) NO.

Reading & QPR possible fixtures next season (assuming we stay up)
Who do we want darn with them..!
Wigan !
Villa, ?
Blunderland !!
the MaggotPies

3) Might one of those clubs sniff Vaughan out ?

Whilst I'll forever be grateful for his goals against Wolves, I don't really want Beckford back. Still been a massive waste of time & money.

Vaughan on the other hand, regardless of the games he'd inevitably miss, I would get on my hands and knees and beg for him to sign full-time. He's been superb this season and we'd have been down sooner than Brizzle without him.

I'm not optimistic it will happen, but I'm praying it does.

we had him for a season unfortunately didn't get a season from him..
that might be the only thing that might see him stay with us.. his regular unavailability...
we did it with "other players" and Vaughan is much more use than any of those were..
question of cost and how much Rhodes cash we want to spend..

For all the injury talk, Vaughan will have made 33 appearances for us this season, plus 4 cup matches.

Compare that to

Danny Ward....27
Keith Southern......28

Beckford has played 20..

I would like both full time , beckford and the end of the day is a class act , and with both of them we could the best strik force in the championship next season .

or the least used "partnership" in the championship..

fine lines and very expensive if it goes badly for both of them..

Vaughan is only 24...Beckford is 29..., I wouldn't be giving him a contract, but I would for Vaughan...

What's happening with Novak anyway, Town haven't offered him a new contract (or Novak has refused to sign one). ...if he becomes a free agent this summer we'll get nowt for him, and we paid, what..£150,000 ?

Don't understand this...

jacko..
none of the 4 recognised strikers may be here next season..
Lets hope they have at least a couple of "targets"...

loui..thanks for the E.....the ass is out in the back field with the goats, ill see about putting it up him later....
He still looks more like a donkey than an ass and will probably sign for the wendies next season and take his place at the centre of their back 4....
