Good result.
Watched the game and thought you were awesome. Lowton (?) was class.
Not bad for the second best team in the Mids
At least we get a derby next year. probably. Maybe.

11 points behind puppy.
Ofcourse that's all you can do
We're hard us.
JH just beat Wigan and I will take you seriously
Look at the 'ickle Vilers asking us Baggies for favours.
We've already got 8th sewn up. I think we'll just have a party and take it easy
Great win though it was, you're not out of the pile just yet there lads.
Next game against Norwich just became even bigger for the Canaries and, as you lot demonstrated at Anfield, look what you did next game after beating 'Pool!
Lets factor out the Villa v Chelsea and Arsenal v Wigan games. Assuming Wigan can get a couple of points from the Baggies and Swansea games (which, admittedly could be a big ask with the Cup final coming a few days after Swansea), that would mean you've still got to get at least a draw against Norwich for it not to come down to the last game.
Personally, I think you're safe, given the metal shown over the last few weeks, but who knows in this game - 0-0 at Norwich until the 89th minute, then an own goal off Delph's backside from a poor corner and the whole picture can change in an instant.
One thing's for certain though - you haven't finished the job yet- you really still need something from Norwich.
You're not on the beach yet.
Agree totally, Norwich game vital but they need points too.
Chelsea more than likely nothing as they are going for Top 4, so nothing from Carrow Road and it's back in the brown stuff.
Baggies will probably gift Wigan 3 points and Swansea have nothing to play for. If Wigan lose those two (wishful thinking) then with a point at Norwich were almost there.
Agree totally we aren't out of the mire yet. We have to forget what other teams do and concentrate on the job in hand. 3 points at Norwich and then i'l begin to breathe easier unless Wigan and Newcastle both pick up 3 as well.
Newcastle seem to think QPR is their get out of gaol card. That is a dangerous way of thinking.
Liverpool missed about 20 chances in that game. We were just more clinical. The next game against Chelsea they had less attempts than Liverpool and ended up scoring 8.
Difference this time is that we don't have 11 players out injured, we are full of confidence and in the last game we didn't just win we played them off the park.

Blueinbarca??? Poor lad. I think he's overcome by the thought we're unlikely to be in the Championship next year showing Blues how to do it.....
Under estimate the Chumpionship at your peril Mr McParland.
If you do drop through the trap door don't expect to walk away with the championship title.
Firstly a lot of your better players will be gone.
Away teams will park the proverbial bus in their own area and on your travels you'll be the big scalp, the team everyone wants to beat.
It's tough down here, trust me (or ask any Dingle)
Anyway, good luck in your remaining games but I think you'll need to be safe before you go to Wigan.

I can't wait to bump this up again on the last day of the season, when Roberto Martinez's matadors send your bumboys down into the Championship!

Could well still happen
Where are you Barca???
Well, if Wigan win their game in hand against Swansea it may well come down to that last match of the season... I expect both teams to draw at best in the penultimate... either way, the dogs are down and we stayed up... ATM I am a happy bunny
