Esctosh, basically the BBC have made a mountain out of a molehill and dragged Rangers name through the dirt.

Chris McLaughlin, BBC Scotland reporter yesterday published a 'leaked' document which he was calling - Green an Ahmads blueprint for the future. Today he called it Charles Greens secret plan.

This document suggested changes in football style and philosophy in the future etc. All sounded nice enough but was also highly critical of the current coaching team and basically said Coisty and co should get the boot.

Not great reading for the club considering it was released the day before he celebrate a title win.

Skip forward to today and after a bit of digging it turns out the document was written by some random investor and were just his own thoughts on the club and where it should aim to go.

So not Charles Greens blueprint for Rangers future despite what the BBC put out there.

Terrible journalism. Pathetic really considering they are meant to be impartial and funded by us.

I can totally see why the ban has been done and I hope it continues.

It amazes me the way the BBC has dealt with us this year. Not one live radio commentary dispite having a majority of their customer base being Rangers fans.

The standard of reporting on Scottish football by the BBC is a joke these days.

What really annoys me is that they use Craig Whyte as a source for stories, yet 12 months ago they slated the guy as a pathalogical liar who couldnt be trusted.

Its just lazy.

Did we ever get a full explanation of why they edited that interview with Coisty to make it look like he was laughing at sectarianism? I know they appologised but what was the explanation?

after all the damaging leaks coming out of ibrox and all the sh it we've had to tolerate from the bbc and we only get round to banning them for an obv pop at ally, durrant, and mcdowell.

figures, must have been the wrong type of leak.

This should have happened after the ally edit. It should have happened after they stared in a q&a on there site that despite all the evidence to the contrary that only rangers fans think we are still the same club. It should have happened after the horrible "mad men" style montage if mccoist falling to his death.

The BBC are legally obliged to provide fact based unbiased reporting yet everything they do seems to be based on one mans personal opinion. The worst part is a lit of it isn't even true.

Stupid banning them for reporting the facts. How about you address the issues raised in the documents, like why spend millions to win div 2?

No it wasn't - that was the point...

It was the thoughts of a random investor - something Chris McGlaughlin could've checked very easily

Exactly, it was a real document endorsed by charles green. Chris McLaughlin confirmed it was charles green who leaked it.

In the theme of the "dont shoot the mesenger" bit often used here why is the BBC getting flack for publishing something Green gave them with you would assume it was intent of it being published
Great start to the bridge building campaign announced by Walter and the new CEO

Well said scotscelt. Classic propaganda move that, rather than debate the points raised it's shoot the messenger and ignore the points.

Aye because Celti have never banned the BBC or Daily Rhebel for "factual" stories about Crltic/Neil Lennon.

.. Happy to shoot the messenger then
