If Moutinho is worth only an extra 2 pts over a PL season then he is not worth buying.
What cost us was losing Sandro to injury and having that muppet Parker playing instead
The home game against Fulham where you didn't look like scoring, I think had you bought another quality striker then it could have made the difference.
Moutinho was another midfielder, was he really the position you needed? Would improve almost any side though.
Fulham game came after a gruelling EL match away to inter and extra time.

Dembele is too slow without Sandro alongside.
And Hudd (of old) is now gone.
Spurs need a fast-passing CM playmaker again.
Carroll has not yet made the grade.

Spurs need a squad overhaul bar Bale. Terrible team!

Good strikers can compensate for meh MF. Look at RVP last season.
The converse is not true (even with Bale fronting up) .
We need a player like Moutinho and a Striker, but we have known this for a long time.
You need a player like Moutinho and a striker but players like Moutinho and great strikers don't want to play the Eurospur league!
Quite possibly for me - said exactly this at the time.
Hopefully now AVB has proven himself (on the whole) he will be backed with more confidence by those who actually choose and buy the players.
