Can't help but feel I've missed something very special in Dernbach because for a country that is filled with quality fast bowlers why we pick him is beyond me. Goes at over 6 an over without taking many wickets. So I can only assume I've missed something special in him that neither myself or any other England fan see.

Yup he was called into the squad as cover for Finn and Broad.

What really annoys me.. The likes of Onions is a good bowler and has little chance of the test team.. Why not pick him for odi's? otherwise he will never play for England again..I'll tell you why it is? England are obsessed with along batting line up.. Woakes currently offers you nothing with either bat or ball. At least go for an out and out bowler.. Same reasons they have gone back to bopara because he can bowl a little.. Just have 5 batsmen a keepr and 5 bowlers.. Its simple..
