I wanted to join but realised how hard it would be to keep up. On this one I managed to get the hammers playing well with relatively little investment

It's a shame SKA, would really have enjoyed your permanent company

Yeah, it's been a real struggle to keep up. What Park said about it yesterday was spot on.

On this one I literally signed 4 players for the first team and was unbeaten in my first 3 and tuck points off the league leaders.

Baines, Santa Cruz, Richardson and watt were my sole first team signings

Santa Cruz? Only had one good season in his career.

Yeah but I really needed a cheap aerial threat and he was pivotal to how we played. Scored a few and got some assists too

Chalobah in defence? That's quite a risky move, really.

Points are given for the quality of the team, quality of the tactics and home advantage. We're hoping too expand this. And then slots are awarded on these points and the slot drawn is the winner.

I'm not too sure on this, it's parks field

I'll ask Park when he's next on, then.

Every player is rated in this league, however we know each player has their strenghths and weaknesses, if you set up a player to play to his strengths in your tactics he can have a good game

Results are formulated by the person doing results looking at both teams and tactics then wach team will be given slots in terms of who's got the better team and tactics, the slots are then put into a random generator that chooses the result, however ig you think about it more slots more chance of a win but the underdog with less slots can get a result the element of surprise... Hope that explains it?

I allow him to push forward when we're on the attack. But what I saw of him he appears to be capable in defence. I'm trying to get loyal to sell him to me permanently, but he refuses

Yeah that explains it. Did a similar thing in a league Wilshere ran around a year back.

Had a great Bilbao team but lost the first game thanks to those slots.

But it appears loyal knows a bit as well. I am fairly knew to ST.

I'd probably play him over Nordveidt if you found another centre back. Or switch Nordveidt and Chalobah around.

However, you're the successful one and I had to argue for almost a whole week to gain my first point in week 3 in my league.

E.g swansea vs Stoke

Swansea have the better team and stoke have better tactics but swansea are at home

Slots are made up of 20

So would be like

Swansea 10
Draw 4
Stoke 6

These would then be put inti the generator and the winnder would be chosen, but swansea have more slots so higher chance of win

I think chalobah and Nordtveit do rotate positions, I should put that in my next tactics

It does make sense doing that sort of results making but it really stings when you're superior in every aspect and lose.

posted on 11/7/13

Yeah well, I wouldn't know

I only lost the last one because it was my your team

posted on 11/7/13

Yeah, it does I lost to a poorer stoke side this season but then makes it interesting if the lower sides can nick some points

I have some really good ideas for this league and hoping when we release them it will attract some people
