He scored a second round knockdown, but punched himself out in that round, then even further in the third.

Then Thompson just kept picking him off with wee hooks and uppercuts, every shot got through as Price had no defence and he was getting beat up heavily.

Ref gave him a standing 8 but he was finished so reg called it off in the 4th or 5th I think.. Can't mind.

i love Thompson, quality guy, " She might be a cripple in the morning, Does anyone wanna donate a wheelchair to her "

You can also lose a lot of energy through nerves.

It can drain you.

Agreed d4 that's why I don't think Price has it mentally to be world class

He could barely breathe at the beginning of that round.

Am all for giving a man a chance, but it was dangerous for his corner to let him carrying on fighting.

Yeah, you shouldn't turn your back on punches if you are a fighter.

He didn't want to be there.

I did warn you all about Price's chin. What a mug Fury is. He should have taken the fight in February and beat Price.

He more or less quit there and didn't have the heart.

back to domestic scene for him and taking on someone like Chisora.

Better fighter won, end of.

Price needs a hell of a lot of work.

Chisora would destroy him especially if it were his next fight.

Audley's comeback!

Aye liw.. I was watching it with my dad and during three knockdown we both looked at each other when it cut to price going to the neutral corner, and we both said he looks fücked so needs the count to go to 10 or to put him down again with there only been 20 seconds left. When Thompson got back up price had absolutely nothing left in him to finish him off

Price should retire, that was pathetic.

Juke

Yeah our old man said, price ain't gunna win this, when Thompson went down

I was like "fook off"

I think price wanted it, and it's unfair to say he didn't.

If your that tired and can't breathe, you ain't gunna last

dear me price !!!

Terrible tactics !!

allowed himself to get into a slug fest with thompson...

posted on 6/7/13

You can push past it, he lacked the heart.

When those punches came raining in, he could have fired back. he tried to hide in the corner instead.

blew himself out in the 2nd and 3rd...what sort of fitness is that !!!

can't take a decent big heavyweight who actually hits him back

thompson's post fight interview was quality

funny guy him

and a tough cookie...unlike price

It the truth,

It amazing what you have left, when it matters and when you want it.

Price didn't, hiding in the corner was his way of quitting.

The brave thing to do would be to fight back, you might get tagged with a monster and be out but at least it you got a chance.

When someone get hit, you find out what they are all about, they revert to type, it can't be trained or learnt.

You can have all the physical attributes in the world but if you are not mentally strong and have a that fighting spirit, you won't make it in boxing.

posted on 6/7/13

gotta agree D4...first time price has been in with a big heavy of decent quality that hits him back....and he didnt have the fight in him to see it through, even after knocking him down early

posted on 6/7/13

D4 you have no clue what Price was feeling or how hurt he was to question his heart.

posted on 6/7/13

You, get, hurt, so what!!!
Suck it up, this is boxing, not tiddly winks, people get hurt in the sport, it is apart of the game.

How you react to it is what matters.

Some will get angry, some will be at their most dangerous, some will think they can't let this moment slip.

Others like Price, will say I don't want this, I can't continue, please stop punching me.
