9 180's, not that i'm keeping count or anything....

Didn't have 1 for 2 years and hit 2 in a day but like you don't play in a league or anything, not good enough.

How did you manage that RAP!? T 20 T 20 D 18?
I've had a 3 figure checkout and 1 bull finish but that's it.

Always the way, never had a 180 in the pub just messing about.

I played more often when I was a kid and have scored 2 x 180's, but that was at home and the oche measurements may not have been exact.

Playing every now and then in pubs at regulation distances, my best in recent years is 160.

Double top - Treble - Treble

First was a marker!

Now, if I ever get 2 treble 20's I bottle the third... missing the board on some ocassions.

I've had 2 180's one in a match and one in practice.

Highest checkout 151

I have a certificate from 1998 for my first "official" 180.
Highest outshot in recent times was 160, (simple two treble 20s and tops) highest in an "official" match 149 (T20, T13, Bull)

Times bottled the 8th dart in a 9 darter opportunity = 2.

Times been to the 4th round in a BDO ranking Open = 2

I have been playing in teams for about 17 years btw. If it wasnt for working shifts I would have played Super League in my early 20s. Used to do 4 on 4 off and spend most of the time off in the pub playing darts.

Now it seems to come and go, one week I will struggle to get more than a 12 one dart average the next I will be smashing up the treble 20. Practice is vital, even for the most natural of players.

Yes it's definitely a game that's 50% talent & 50% sheer hard work

Sounds like you play at a really good standard DJ. Do you play at Andy Fordhams pub?

The pub he had for a bit, yeah. I have drunk there and played darts for them since I was 18, Fordham took over when I was about 24, and stayed for around 5 years.
Had the likes of Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis and Ritchie Burnett down pre- worlds practicing when it was at Circus Tavern.

I am not so good now, and to be honest Fordhams arrival had a negative effect on my darts. So many wannabe darts players started coming down, so the board was hard to get on. Went from just our dart team to 4 teams in there, 4 boards around the pub and it was hard to get on one to practice. Never really got close to the pre-Fordham form

Headline: "Andy Fordham Ruined My Life!"

That's a shame but did you get to play any of them?

Played Fordham a fair few times. Made Lewis play me "for the board" as I was on it when they turned up. He is an arrogant and very unlikable chap.

Who won?
Shame that cos I quite like Lewis.

Let's just say that was my last game of the night!

Fair enough, still not everyone can say they've lost to a world champion
