.................
The law of ja606: there's no wum ammunition/potential in it. Sad state of affairs but the reality unfortunately.
I don't remember this game which is unusual as It's probably the only football gold showing on sky sports over the last week or so that doesn't ring a bell so will look out for it. We had a decent team that season though (when they played to their potential), I recall us dominating arsenal at home for near-45 mins but only had a Ziege free-kick to show for it before we bottled it and pires scored his mandatory goal at WHL and should have beaten Chelsea there too and would have but for cudicini's quality save from a redknapp free kick (cudicini was easily the best keeper in the league then IMO, still remember the unbelievable save he pulled off at OT from a RVN header).... But then I also remember us being abysmal vs man united at home where we were lucky not to lose by 7 or 8 (although most spurs fans were happy as it helped deny arsenal!)
By the way, west ham vs spurs on at 9.45 tonight: stalteri's golden moment!
It also seems as though lanespur has covered so much in the article that there's little to comment about it
No real debate to be had on here, it's a statement, and one we totally agree on. I wouldn't be disheartened with the lack of comments, most people have probably read it

Not necessarily. I think articles like this are superb, but they don't exactly encourage discussion. A great read though.

As mentioned earlier the shrewdest buys were the young cheap English players.
Unfortunately there is no such thing as a young cheap English player any more. Ince 8 mill
Great article
