I don't think the rest of the PL is what concerns most United fans. As people have already pointed out, as things stand we still have a team capable of challenging and winning the title this coming season.

It's the growing gap between ourselves and the likes of Bayern, Barca and Madrid that is more worrying for me.

Bayern have added two world class players to the already best team in Europe. Barca have added Neymar to a team that already has Messi and Madrid have got Isco, soon will have Bale and they've added another 2-3 spanish starlets as well.

The biggest problem this summer has been a real lack of top class players on the market.

United, Arsenal and Chelsea have struggled to add top class players to their sides even though they all have money to spend.

The very few top players that were out there ignored England and went to France and Spain.

People think we have a good squad. I disagree. We have an ok squad. It was due to the pure genius of SAF that we won the title.
Now we have an unhappy Rooney on our hands too.
City have made just the perfect signings.
They wanted a tough tackling midfieldr and they got Fernandinho, they lacked width at times so they got Navas, They swapped Tevez for an equivalent quality and younger striker in Jovetic and the unreliable Mario with a proven goalscorer.
