To be brutally honest I still have doubts as to whether our squad to good enough to mount a challenge for the top 4. I would say we are atm that bit stronger than at the end of last season, Arsenal are about the same, but will surely add at least 1 or 2 more. Spurs are looking very strong indeed. Imo LFC still need another quality attacking player and a good CB to compete with/cover Toure/Agger. If we can get that done I will be delighted. I have my doubts though, I am a bit gutted that we lost Willian to a PL rival in Spurs, not point in hiding it, it could potentially be a big blow. Lets hope not. Thats our 3rd failure concerning a quality attacking player, this time the board surely has to do the buisness, well if there even is another this time of course.
indeed i don't think 4th is on anyway as the "squad" aint up to it. rodger has his guys in to put on rather than look over at guys who are not his and sigh but that doesn't mean that just cos he says his squad addtions mean he only needs quality.
he's done one out one in and yet said the squad was small last year when it suited.
No our first team is reasonably ok. its the youth on the bench that drives to the heart of the issue.
