Get a grip of yourself, theyre in League 1
Thought Sterling was outstanding.
Watching BR's interview he is one very relieved man
Anyone know when the draw for the next round is?
Tomorrow after the next cup games
Not happy, we already have a paper thin squad, what if Agger gets injured, we're seriously running out of senior CB's, we should concentrate on the P.L!
If we play like that Sunday we'll get destroyed.
Kelly and skrtel wont be miles away, plus I will be AMAZED if we dont sign a cb before the window ends....A.M.A.Z.E.D.
We have to sign a CB without a doubt.
Knotty...the point is we wont. I think 2-0 up complacency set in, right or wrong it did; do you think vs utd this will happen???
I don't think we'll get the chance to go 2-0 up. If we give any set pieces away we'll be punished.
If we play like that Sunday we'll get destroyed or win by 4 goals.
KATD is right. If the team haven't learnt from tonight's lesson on how to shoot yourself in the foot in 17 easy lessons, United will walk away the winners. Deeply concerned about Kolo; great article about him in the Guardian today. Looks like the injury could be quite some time. Hendrson's goal, as well as Sterlings and both of Daniels were each individually superb. Same about the complacency in the second half. Again.

Knotty.....you may be right, but I wouldnt be surprised to see wisdom in the cb with agger; and you know what....I bet he has a stormer!!!

Did we play that badly ?
Could, and maybe should have been 4 or 5 up by half time.
Sometimes in football these things happen, but I'm still pretty confident about Sunday personally.

I thought we played very well, it was just one of those games. Ibe seeks to be getting a lot of praise for his performance but I thought he was very poor but it will do him the world of good that experience.
It's set pieces that worry me. We give them away too easily and don't defend them well. Utd have got two centre halves adept at attacking set pieces plus two of the best strikers in Europe. We just cant afford to keep giving away easy set pieces.
"Could, and maybe should have been 4 or 5 up by Hal time." Spot on analysis. And that applies to the games against
Stoke
Aston Villa
Notts County.
Time for a re-think on attitude, second half.

Sturridge continues to score goals, Henderson showed a great deal of maturity again in his game, and young Sterling also did well.
We played 30 minutes of extra football, and picked up a couple of injuries, two of which don't look like being too long term, not exactly the end of the world.

Thought the lad started well, but later on in the game, started to show his immaturity at times, not lifting his head, and sometimes trying to run through brick walls.
As you say, the experience will do him the world of good.
Exactly jlou.
On Sunday, whether its Skrtel or Wisdom, we'll have Enrique back at LB, Johnson back at RB, Lucas in front of the defence. It's not a disaster at all. It'll be fine.
Jlou.....agreed, but he is only 17 I think.
