Just to round it off why he prefers United;
“It was that night in 1999 against Bayern Munich. The night of apotheosis. Unforgettable. My new team had scored the goal to clinch an improbable victory in the last minute.
David Moyes will decide, but he knows that I prefer playing as a defensive midfielder."
---
We might see the 'jizzworthy 6' at some point this season
As to where he will play on the pitch, he knows it's not up to him: “David Moyes will decide, but he knows that I prefer playing as a defensive midfielder."
THAT, is all i needed to see.
Moyes, I know you'll be reading this;
-----------------RVP
--Kagawa----Rooney----Nani
---------Fellaini---Carrick
Evra------Vidic-----Rio---Rafael
---------------De Gea

Please for the love of God read this.
-----------------RVP
--Kagawa----Rooney----Nani
---------Fellaini---Carrick
Evra------Vidic-----Rio---Rafael
---------------De Gea
im willing to bet a million pounds that team doesnt start more than 15 games this season
If we're experimenting as well with a 4-3-3
De Gea
Rafael Vidic Evans Evra
Carrick----- Fellaini
-------Rooney-------
Nani RVP Kagawa
I don't care if he plays every outfield player in defence, as long as those 10 players are on the pitch,
Marouane Fellaini 3 196 24 89.09%
Tom Cleverley 3 182 26 87.50%
Michael Carrick 3 174 29 85.71%
First row = Games played so far
Second row = Successful passes
Third row = Failed passes
Fourth row = Pass accuracy
These ae the stats for the 13/14 season currently, I believe Fellaini had played a deeper role under Martinez yes?

I reckon that will be Moye's first chioce XI when everyone is fit except for a couple of changes
Valencia for Nani, because Fergie did so and therefore Moyes will do so too
Giggs for Kagawa because Giggs is a living club legend and his experience will be key in Moyes' eyes
Welbeck for Rooney in many games because Welbeck can run a lot
He used the word 'apotheosis'?
Have you noticed The Red Connoisseur has been sticking up for him? And has anyone seen Fellaini and TRC in the same room?
First row = Fellaini
Second row = Cleverley
Third row = Carrick
Could TRC perhaps be Fellaini himself?
That's what I was getting at RVP, although I must say it's now how I pictured him up to now.
Anyone agree that Carrick has had a relatively slow start to the season. This seems to be the norm for him though.
I'd like to see stats regarding forward passes because I seriously doubt Cleverley has managed many of those
Well he has, it's there in black and white on the SSN website link I provided. Anything else you fancy bashing?
Just going to copy and paste a comment n that article as I think he's correct.

Arsenal have signed a top quality player in Ozil yes... but they've not solved the problems elsewhere on the pitch as United have done in Fellaini... yes we still need a attacking midfielder that can open things up and find Rooney and RVP in better positions... but we have Kagawa and Moyes needs to be brave and put him in on the left and give him the freedom to roam, so he can cause problems linking play up! Ozil is adding to Wilshere, Ramsay, Wallcott, Cazorla... they didn't "need" him... they need a top striker... a strong DM and a quality centre half maybe even two and maybe even a keeper. United needed and have done for some time someone to play alongside Carrick who can go box to box and cause problems and score goals... If United can get another 20 goals out of RVP and Rooney each and then add 10-15 goals from Fellaini then we'll be there at the end of the season... this is what United "needed"!! Well done Moyes... just don't leave it so late next summer please!!!!!!!
Why does every other team 'know' what we need? World class striker I'll give you. Back end of last season we were solid defensively, conceding almost the least amount of goals in the Prem, but our football grew stale as there wasn't really any creative spark. problem solved.

Simply won't happen
Why not Macca?
If Fellaini earns a first team spot and Rooney plays well, I'd say that's pretty much are strongest team.
because Valencia and Giggs are clearly hypnotists and will play every game
Fellaini isn't really a goal scoeing box to box CM tbh.
His goal scoring stats are kind of scewed because he does play further up the field quite often
He very very rarely scores playing in the deep lying CM position
We don't generally need him to score goals, with Kags, RvP, Nani & Rooney ahead of him & Carrick, I highly doubt we'll struggle for goals.
