On the assumption we get £60M for the pair to add to the £15M we will get from Almunia, Bendtner and Eboué I would buy:

Benzema - £30M
Baines - £20M
Tiote - £15M
Vertonghen - £12M

We can dream - we will get a decent defender, no left back and replacements for whoever leaves.

m'vila for dm would be a good buy too

i wonder if he will dip into the market for Eden Hazard (replace Nasri), Scott Dann (defensive cover), Enrique (to replace Clichy). Not sure who you will get to replace Cesc - maybe Wilshere will be elevated into that role.

Overall, i dont think you will be as badly off as some doommongers are predicting. You really need a reliable striker though for when RvP gets injured (i say when rather than if, as it is a certainty).

Would Benzema come to Arsenal?? maybe so, would be a rather tasty set of additions if you got them all.

Who to replace cesc is a baffling one for me, cant think of any realistic signings who could come in and do a job straight away

i would go for:
Mata -> £22m
Vertonghen -> £10m
Mathias Jorgensen -> £8m
Joel Campbell -> £1m
and spend the rest on paying of the stadium debt. that way, arsene will be kept happy

sell:
cesc
nasri
almunia
bendy
squillachi
eboue

The players I have suggested are dream signings really. Jose won't sell to Wenger and I don't see why Benzema would join us anyway. Wenger doesn't want a left back for some unknown reason and Everton will probably hold out for £30M+ for Baines when Citeh realise that Clichy is g@sh. Tiote just signed a 6 year contract a few months ago and considering the money they got from Carroll they do not need to sell. Vertonghen seems pretty happy at Ajax too, don't think he wants to leave but I wish Wenger would at least try and find out rather than hovering around average players like Cahill and Samba waiting to make his move.

Why are we being linked with Dann? Surely we can do better now that we are selling 2 of our best players. He can spend 12m on AOC but he's still looking for a bargain CB. Really piss3s me off!!

if we're to sell Nasri to city I'd like to get Micah Richards as part of the deal

not even kidding here: Bring in Jagielka, Cahill and Dann. Those 3 should be priorities, finally sort out our defence. Or buy 2 of those three and a decent left back like enrique. That i think would eat all of cesc's fee, and plus a little bit of our original budget also. Then assuming NB52 and Nasri do leave, juan mata and a central forward of wengers choice.

Knowing our luck though, will get three 20 year olds from France.
