They said the yellow was probably for the trip

Did anyone realise not one person mentioned the Townsend dive in the first half? If that was a foreigner..

Cant follow your logic there, Vertonghen and I mean the red card for Torres. If anyone then Vertonghen should have been sent off because he had his hand in the face of Torres. Torres did nothing there.

I thought Torres jumped into Vertonghen, it was a tad reckless and i can see why Dean deemed it a yellow even if it was harsh.

Yes, Red666. But the point where they attacked Verwrong'un was for the red card incident.

Never said it was a red card offence GT, it was just clumsy. my point is that averting hen was holding his head as Torres caught him when they landed. Torres should have been off long before anyway

If anything Torres jumped into him, so no it wasn't a sending off offence for Verts either

Shock horror, ref gets it wrong (twice) before coming to the correct decision, 20 minutes late.

If you want to see diving, blatant cheating and gamesmanship, then tune into super sunday and watch Sewerez..... that guy is the best I have ever seen at clever cheating.

The Torres decision was the first time I've heard Halsey disagree with a ref decision

Poor article.

DJ I agree, although it happens every week, but in such a high profile game, it will definitely be highlighted more in the media.

Such diving and cheating is poor taste to be fair, yet arsenal's greatest achievement was built on the back of a blatant pires dive vs Portsmouth to help them scrape a draw and their greatest failure was a game where arsenal scored from a free kick after eboue's shocking dive vs Barcelona.....

I think maybe my wording unintentionally made it look an attack solely on Spurs and Chelsea.

The line "once again Spurs and Chelsea drag football into the gutter" suggests it is always these two clubs, when in fact I meant once again football is dragged into the gutter.
