Its not a myth, he wasnt crap but he also didnt threaten much, 16 goals each in his 1st two seasons, then a great third season. Confidence.

Because it is a football forum for discussion maybe? I doubt giroud will ever be as good as Drogba but like I said he is the closest to making an impact like he did since drogba left the league.

There not really that similar of a player at all though.

Drogba was an aerial bully, he'd win every aerial battle and was great holding up the ball.

Giroud relies more on his movement behind defences and in between defenders for goals.
