It wouldn't be though.

If we didn't have Ozil I would say Bergkamp but because we have the worlds best assister, I would have to go with Henry.

That partnership would cause defenders to have a heavy panic attacks long before kick off.

In your opinion, not mine

Bergkamp > Henry
-------------------------------------

Maybe on your home-programmed computer game. Not in the real world. But it doesn't address the article anyway.

Seeing as Bergkamp is a FAR more replaceable player than Henry, he's much less needed in our current team.

and I replied with Bergkamp....
==========
You would have Ozil, Cazorla and Bergkamp creating and no-one to take advantage. Would be absolutely pointless.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you'd had Bergkamp, Cazorla and Ozil together in the same team, the last thing you'd want would be wasting any of the 90 mins constantly fetching the ball out the back of the net

Think Sheriff's insinuating you're a kid, Magic Hat.

It's not too late to getting him onside though.

Just post something really nice about Man U and he'll be climbing right up your backside.

Only kids play games? Never knew that. Never knew I've been a kid all these years. Guess I have to grow up.

Plenty of good, free materials on the net. Never too late to learn. You can be a master in less than a year.

So I can make a football game where Bergkamp is better than Henry

Has to be Henry and then maybe Campbell who is probably one of the best cb in our history.

Would have to be Henry or Pires. We could do with a better CF, but we also struggle on the left (whoever plays there seems to get injured).

Seriously though, as much as I love all those guys, if it came down to just one of them to augment our current team, it'd have to be Henry.

Bergkamp would be far down my list. First would be Henry. With him in his prime in this side, we'd be title favourites. He can score from absolutely nothing, something no one else in our side is capable of. Second would be Campbell in defence. Then Viera in midfield. Then maybe Pires on one of the flanks (with Cazorla covering the other side). When you have a creative hub with Ozil and Cazorla, Bergkamp is far from a priority.

Not even in the top 5 of a 20 year olds lifetime.

Bit harsh on Campbell that, D'J. He'd definitely be in a 'Wenger Era Arsenal XI'.

Personally I'd put Adams, O'Leary and Bould ahead of him if choosing an 'All-Time Arsenal XI' though.

Henry without doubt.

What about big Frank McClintock

To answer the OP

I would love Pires...... But the current team would benefit more from an Henry

This team could actually do with an Ian Wright

Pires and Ljunberg would be better than Walcott. It's either them two or Henry. Of course Henry gets a straight look in but if I had second option too id probably go with Ljunberg due to his pace and the fact him Giroud Ramsey and Vermaelen would make Arsenal the sexiest team of all time.
