i think maculey got a little injury during the game aswell.
Good point and a pleasing performance. Clarkey got tactics spot on. Can't criticise anything today other than Anelka's couple of misses. Yacob and Mulumbu immense.
Amazing how the deadline day signings have transformed the place. Finishing 8th again will be tough but we have a much better team than we did last season
Finally, the Hawthorns is feeling like a fortress again which it hasn't really been in 2013. Great atmosphere.
Just as my excitement builds...along comes international break. Boooooo
My missus is a Stokie but now converted to West Brom thanks to me but her whole family are all Stoke fans. I wonder if I would get away with ignoring them?
By the way if my pockets didn't have huge holes in em, I'd bet on you guys to finish 8th. You look pretty good atm.
What I like about the Albion now is that we have at least 2 players for every position and not only that but these 2 players for each position are quality players. When we ever had that?
You're right josh
Wum...put your money on WBA as top midlands club. Again.
Easy money.
Stoke away next.
Considering they're our 'bogey team'..... We're unbeaten at The Britt since we returned to the PL.
They're struggling aswell at the minute. So play to our potential and the points are there for the taking. Then onto Anfield (our 2nd home ) full of beans ......anything can happen
I think that we could beat Stoke. Under Hughes they seem to be playing better football but it has resulted in the goals drying up for them. If we play like we did today and last week, we should beat them especially now that they are not really a bogey team now for us.
I've always found Stoke fans to be ok and fair. In the end, they couldn't stand Tony Pulis's tactics or his football, and they weren't sorry to see him go. Derby County fans are next up to moan about him when he gets that job.
But a solid result for Albion against Arsenal today. Even at 1-0 I'd have taken the draw because they can be really dangerous. Yes, Anelka could have made it 2-0, but Arsenal could have scored a few as well, so a fair result.
Steve McLaren is in charge of Derby now Aries and has been since Monday. Have you been in hibernation for the past 6 days.
I think we edged it today but certainly can't complain about 4 pts from 2 very tough games.
How good does it feel to be able to bring on subs of the quality of Brunt, Long and Jimmy?
Should Berahino and Billy be going to the world cup?
They play for WBA so will inevitably be over looked.
Slightly to soon for Berahino anyway but Billy is deffenately in the top 4 RB's England have.
Kyle Walker and Glen Johnson are both seriously overrated and Micah Richards is a beat on his day but is inconsistent, injury prone and is often over looked.
beast*****
Anyway.....
...............who doesn't love a BJ?
Wilshere completely reaffirmed his status in my mind.
And how exactly did he do that?
His first half performance consisted of him falling on the floor at every opportunity.
Very late tackle on Yacob too when the ball was nowhere near just because the game wasn't going his way.
Don't you think he was going to the floor because he was being fouled?
Vydra has scored for the u21's
Another option returns

I was working flat out all last week, then at the weekend I travelled to the United States where I am now, writing this on the train from Boston to New York. So yeah, I've been out of the loop, sorry!
Jeez that is a hectic week aries. My comment was just a gentle ribbing in case you thought I was being serious.
Who have the u21's played jh?

Really really shocked by this. I saw this guy every week in the Smethwick End. Always smiling
RIP
That's a good result. Who else scored?
Wow that is sad news. I hope Albion do something to commensurate him. Maybe a mark of respect at the next home game.
