STB i was at that hampden game as well. Even though we had lost to Feyenoord and lost the first game I still remember thinking we would win. They had Cruyff but we had Jinky and all that. We still have a very, very good team at that point.
But it was like they played a different game and even Big Jock coundn't get to grips with it although we won that night.
Celtic and Rangers were good teams at that time..but old firm games were like ...we have the ball..now you have it. Ajax didn,t do that..people said they were defensive but that wasn't it. They controlled games in a way that teams hadn't done before. That was one of the really great teams but very frustrating if you were against them.
The noise of their fans with the Klaxon horns was also really annoying.

Mick, if you notice in the clip ronnie never moves the ball just lands on a plate.. Ireland deserved a draw the final game against the Dutch, who knows what might have happened
