Some of the bottle conditioned stuff is good and Shepherd Neame do some great bottled stuff but I can't fathom why they make the bottled version stronger.

Fosters is rough.

Kronenbourg is the best tasting beer, in my opinion. Liquid gold.

The Aussies in my cricket team even say they're sorry for giving the world Fosters. Carlsberg is alright, so is Carling.

Budvar is better than normal bud

A brewery local to me is Alechemy and it's a good one. Mosaic Burst is particularly good if you can get it.

My favourite Scottish brewery is Fyne Ales. Their Jarl is pretty well known and very pleasant. They do various other excellent beers such as Avalanche and Hurricane Jack.

But the ales I like most at the moment are from Oakham in Peterborough especially Green Devil, Citra and Scarlet Macaw. Hoppy brilliance.
