Isn't the rumour that it was A bit more than that....and his family/kids were insulted....
And also....he asked for him to be moved.....the fan left the ground on his own whim.......!!!!
I think he is, but he would be better gritting his teeth and getting on with it. Don't like the way the press pick on people, but complaining just makes it worse.

It's a pro-Harry, anti-foreigner reaction imo.
If Harry Redknapp had done the same the press would have called him a saint.
He's a foreigner so he's fair game, plus it can't help when ex owners like sugar are doing him down in the press.
Personally i have an extremely low view of the tabloids in this country, they don't care too much for truth and facts and concentrate more on blackening someone's name and trying to ruin them and once they have their claws into someone, they very rarely let go.
Unless you're called jose^^^^
They did the same to Balloteli and Mancini.

I don't think there's a huge anti-foreigner thing though.
Jose, Wenger, Laudrup, Martinez etc, they all seem to be beloved by the press. Martin Jol was a hopeless manager towards the end at Fulham but no-one really slated him in the press.
But when managers, foreign or not do something stupid be it Di Canio for being Di Canio, or AVB for spending £100 million but playing the most defensively awful football ever then having the temerity to slate his own fans for being quiet and then getting fans kicked out you can see he becomes a story.
It would be the same for English managers if they did the same kind of thing. Just look at McClaren and how he was slated.
If the press faced the fans and had to explain their stories I may have some modicum of respect for them but there is no chance of that.
They hide away criticising people when their own conduct has shown to be disgraceful at times.
Why should journalists be immune from public scrutiny, Ashton should be forced to sit in a room of football fans and let's see how he comes out of it.

Or did they bring it on themselves?
Ballotelli was his own worst enemy and wrote his own stories whereas Mancini towards the end of his time at City was apparently a very disliked man at the club.

It's only the same for English managers when they accept the poisoned chalice (England job).

Wenger isn't a media darling like Jose

My own viewpoint is that when you get a fan removed (as happened in the Tromso game) for shouting 'you're getting sacked in the morning'
How true is that? And Fergie did worse for less.
Every fanbase perceive bias in the media whenever something is written negatively about something connected to their team. Likewise, a journalist is deemed good if he praises them.
Just stick to the editorial print press rather than the tabloids and there are a lot of very good sports journalists out there. I do think sometimes journalists get stick where the clubs are equally to blame if not more, to be honest.

Robb you obviously battle to read between the lines.More than half the things that were reported about Mario were lies.Everyone knew that, its just that his cult status meant people liked to peddle these rumours as fact.
Take for example the fact that they used to report that Mario was unpopular when anyone with a brain knows that he is the most popular footballer on the planet.Watch the world cup and you will see them chant his name rather than someone like Rooney.
The press liked to fill up their papers with mario hence created stuff.
Mancini is probably one of the worst treated foreign managers I have seen.Just like AVB the common denominator is money spent.Thats why Wenger is not that abused but to call him a media darling is a joke.
I remember Mancini being ridiculed from his very first decision to drop Shay Given in favour of joe Hart.Every single decision he has made from playing yaya in front of De jong he has received dog abuse from a public that knows nothing about football. It was like mancini was some PE teacher lucky to get the City job yet he is probably one of the finest ex players to coach in the country.

He used to come up with some absolute garbage in the press though.
