I think Alonso is almost as good as Pirlo, Xavi I want Chelsea to sign him in the summer he is out of contract.

Fabregas can do what alonso does (maybe not as good, but still do a great job) but alonso cant do what cesc does.

Fabregas can play Alonso's role just as well, if not better. People forget Fabregas played central midfield in a 4-4-2 between '05 and '09 partnering a holding midfielder. Only between '09 and 11 did Wenger put him as an attacking mdfielder infront of 2 deep midfielders. He was amazing in that role as a teenager when we got the the CL final in '06. Fabregas in 07/08 playing in central midfielder is as good as I've seen from any playmaker in this country. That was his best season in an Arsenal shirt,

Shame it counted for nothing as our poor squad depth saw us capitulate late in the title race.
