What do you want from GSE

I can't recall the three amigos ever gambling away our future. They were just gambling on not getting caught.

All I want from GSE is:

long life and happiness.

Me? I'd like to see us get up this year and invest sensibly in the summer: whatever the income from the one season gets spent on trying to stay up (and beat 11 points!) and then see where we are.

I don't want to be Portsmouth, and I don't want us at the mercy of a single owner who could get bored. Pay our way and, if that means we end up only being good enough for the Championship then Championship it is.

I heartily agree with 666. Must be the first time ever. Sometimes I have partly agreed with him, but this time it's total.

BUT. It's obvious he is mortally cut up about not winning poty. He will never recover unless he wins next time.

If it'd been to a worthy opponent then fine, whatever... but Vidal's?!!

If sooner PLAY her before Sammon!

I hope Mr Sammon comes on tomorrow and scores the winner, thus proving something of his worth and at the same time we get back to winning ways.

Which Derby fan could NOT wish for that?

Reckon we should have gone for Perkins personally, would have helped the holding MF position.

I want GSE to feckoff and stop leeching of us. Just appoint a CEO and he can talk to the owners.

They are a waste of space. What does Appleby do for his quite considerable wedge.

Zing hot chaps.

Iwas, why are GSE leeching off us? I would have thought just the opposite - to the tune of @ £80M.

In a perverse sort of way I'm glad we got battered by Leicester because it was a huge dose of reality and showed us we are nowhere near ready yet.
We are at least one year behind them.
It took Cardiff a few years to get there and Leicester are on the verge after several years of huge investment.
So if GSE are serious about getting a return on their investment, then further investment is required.
But will they?

RamsFanBaz. I come to you with respect and in peace as a fellow supporter. I can see what you mean and you are entitled to your opinion as much as any man.

And if you were the manager you could dump him either by a sale or by just paying off his contract. But as you are not in charge you have to accept he is one of our players and that it would be to The Rams's advantage if he improved as a player rather than got even worse.

So, can we take it you accept that?

Right! Then if fans get on his back? do you think he will get better - or worse as a player?

Also, he does have some attributes as a player. He's tall and aggressive and quick and strong, and he works very hard.

So, if fans appreciated his efforts on the pitch and showed this appreciation - as with any other player, do you think he might be more effective and improve as a player. Emphasis on MIGHT!

And, as we've agreed such - either deterioration - or improvement - would disadvantage or benefit the club and might reduce or increase his valuation on the transfer market.

Then, may I ask, if you want the best for Derby County, WHY GET ON HIS BACK??
