predictably almost 70% said yes.

That's because he dived, shall the viewers all lie to appease the RS fans? Gerrard's dives were never highlighted,so stop with conspiracy theories.

Alas

So Shearer, Lineker & Murphy were talking shiite when they said it wasn't a dive. Yet a random sample phone in poll is cast iron proof?

A dive to me is when there is no contact at all. For example, what Bale, Ronaldo and Rooney do. When there is slight contact it becomes more debatable, as running at full speed any contact can knock you off balance. There was contact between Guzan and Suarez, and he did go down easily. But it is a grey area to me. If there was no contact at all then I would not have been happy with him, but whenever Suarez does "dive" (which he had not done for a long time), there is always at least slight contact.

I brought up Collymore, and you lot pooh poohed his comments. You pick and choose who's views suit you argument.

Alas

You mean Collymore the Villa fan? What did you expect him to say?

Collymore isn't paid to be objective and act as a pundit

He's paid to antagonise listeners to phone in and keep listening. To boost ratings. He's a professional fisherman... and quite a good one at that.

Murphy and Redknapp are neutral are they?
