Great news for boxing, British boxing and both fighters.
I'd would personally like to apologise to Carl for doubting him, a true Warrior, a great British champion and a credit to the sport.
I think Froch would've fought the punchbag Chavez Jr if he had it his way, luckily the IBF ordered the rematch. Fair play to him for not vacating the title though.
Hopefully Groves schools his again, a few heavy shots to the head could heal his delusion
Groves needs to work on his fitness for the rematch, the stoppage was an absolute joke, but he was starting to tire. If he doesn't gas out, I see him winning a wide UD.
Froch might be a lot of things, but a ducker he ain't.
Of course he was tiring. He wasn't as fresh as he was in the first round. Froch was also slowing. This time GG will close the show in 6. Far superior fighter.
Groves goes straight into my top 10 P4P list if he beats Froch again
what's your current top 10?

steady on Kam, there's time for that yet
A lot of people have Froch in their top 10 Mex (I don't).
If Groves wins in style, he'd warrant a place in there imo.
Floyd
Ward
Bradley
Rigo
Donnaire
Wlad
Mares
JMM
Paq-juicer
Martinez
Top 2 are nailed on. The rest are in no particular order. Paq squeezes in at 10th.
Donaire 5th? He got schooled by Rigo and looked like shyyyte against the Armenian guy in his last fast.
So if Pac beats Bradley again, you gonna move him up to 3rd?
In no particular order? You're such a bender Az
I like Ward a lot, he's a good boy, but he needs to start fighting some big names regularly again, he's done fack all for almost 2 years. I'd still have him 2nd for the time being, but he needs to liven up ASAP
Floyd
Rigo
Ward
Bradley
Wlad
JMM
Pacquiao
Martinez
GGG
D.Garcia
Ward needs to sign up with Top Rank to make the most of his career.

Couldn't agree more. For some reason Froch is p4p top 10. Groves 'won' the first time and another demolition job then he atleast warrants a look in.
Credit to Froch though. Never liked him, comes across as a first class cuu...nt but agreeing to a rematch which if he loses would end his career is a bold move. He is the sort of guy that will fight anyone anywhere... but hope Groves knocks him for six.
It's hard to see Froch getting KOd/stopped, the guy is a rock, but Groves did have him badly hurt in the first fight, so you never know. The safest bet is Groves by UD imo
you dont know whether Froch was complacent going into the first fight, first 2/3 rounds will show how the fight is going to go, its still a close fight to call
Froch will definitely be a bit more cautious, but Froch's stock is declining, Groves is increasing. A comfortable UD imo or so i hope anyway.
Could be a real cracker of a rematch, Froch know he has to throw the old game plan out the window and start a fresh.
He needs to take the Groves right hand out of the equation, several ways of doing this, but can Froch adapt his style at such a late stage in the game.

It not that hard to take that punch out the equation, a simple circling to your right can do it, he could learn to keep his left up as well
