Bluedroog I would be more than happy with Costa. He ticks all the right boxes and if we get him for 32 million I'd say that's a relative bargain in today's market.
The only downside is that I think Courtois will be used as part of the deal.
I've always said I'd be surprised if he left Spain seeing as he wants to play for them Internationally.
He's capped for Brasil but ostracised for delaring a desire to play for Spain. I'm not sure what is going on but he may be an international football refugee which could be a bonus for his club!

No way! Costa has a £32 million release clause, even a 2014 Torres has to be worth £10 million (even if his wages are high) and Courtois is worth around £32 million alone, keepers like him are hard to come by, we’d be mad.
The best thing about the way we are conducting ourselves in the transfer market is we have some fantastic assets available to us.
players that are not getting into the team but are still increasing in value is so important to us.
I mean look at mata, and KDB for instance, huge profits made.
the thing with Costa that makes sense is.
1. we have courtois, yes he is probably one of the best keepers around, but cech is not old for a keeper is he, he could go on for another 3 years at the top level. if atletico want him they will have to pay us plus costa.
We also have torres. I believe this is nando's last season with us and he could be included in any deal.
Either way I doubt very much that costa will cost us 32 mil, I actually think he will cost us nothing if courtios is part of the deal.

I kind of agree with swap courtois and costa however the problem we have is how to get torres off the books.well we did first step by selling his best mate Juan Mata// I don't think anyone would pay crazy money for him. a maximum I see is aroun 15 mil so I rather go for torres plus cash for costa and sell one of courtois /25 mil/ or cech/15mil/
Torres still has a couple of years left actually.
But about Costa... a strong, technically brilliant striker with a controversial side to him who endured a slow start to his career.
