We've just lost our best striker Andrew, it's not great news
Now is the time to put bRooney up front and get Kagawa in behind him. Or Mata.
I thought would be more apt. The implies blame
Allows us to play Kagawa against Bayern.
Not surprised to be honest
the lad caught him right in the back of the knee and it looked painful enough.
Back to the drawing board now for our attack
If Van Persie takes six weeks to recover he would miss West Ham (a), City (h), Villa (h), Bayern (x2), Newcastle (a), Everton (a).
Sigh..
They won't play Kagawa it'll be
Valencia Rooney Young
Welbeck

RVP take the good with the bad.
Believe it or not, sorry to hear that. I always prefer to win by being clearly better rather than relying on injuries or luck.
Shows how fortunate you were to get a more or less injury free season out of him last year. Van Persie (and all the others nailed on for a trip to Brasil) will be ultra cautious with injuries now.
RVP had scored 17 in 25 appearances for us, despite him looking half assed this year.
According to Jamie Jackson, it's touch and go for RVP to play for us again this season because of the world cup. That Olympiacos game could be his last ever game for us if he's sold this summer

For 6 weeks out he obviously isn't overstating it. However he does have a rep for managing his own fitness and using his own (Dutch) medics. I just don't see him rushing back.
