Best team to win the league. Hate chelsea and arsenal. City meh. But liverpool deserve it. Their attacking force has been incredible.

I also find it funny that while we were in touching distance with them all season, so many articles kept popping up about "liverpool having their best season and us only being x points behind blah blah blah". Well now we see how good they are and that its been no fluke.

I want spurs to be taken over by Vincent Tann made to play in red and OGS to be their manager.

I like how all the Mousers claim they won`t win the title and will bite hands off for 4th, not wanting to tempt any sort of fate

Deep down they all secretly believe they are going to win it.

It would be a travesty if a team full of cheats won the PL.

No the truth that we have very nearly reached our goal for this season and will now just enjoy the rest of the season, but credit where credit is due you were correct at the beginning of the season we weren't your rivals.

We haven't lost any wars. We have lost a few battles. Our squad is still better than Liverpool's and with a good manager and a couple of first team editions we will put the mickeys back in their place.

They are being carried be two or so players.
---------------------------------------

I'm not sure your squad is better though.

Anyways, until we drop points I'm choosing to believe. Got to be honest when I say it's a nice feeling. We do play very good football and have been getting this level of results for over a year now.

The main asset has to be the manager in my eyes. I watched him change formation 3 times against Fulham to win a game that we would have lost in the past. He carries himself well and I think he is getting better.

Couple of question marks over his transfers but this is balanced out by him making other perform to a far higher level.

We have achieved nothing though, bar entertaining people (which is important) but late wins for Everton and Spurs means there is still work to be done to achieve the boards first target.

This is a good league at the moment and the next few years should be very good entertainment all round.

He is doing OK but Liverpool would had 15 points less without Suarez.

They also been very, very lucky in terms of injuries. Extra European games will mean more fatigue and injuries next season.

There are always a team or two I like to watch every season, apart from Liverpool. Remember it was Leeds when they had a load of young players and the exciting Kewell.

Arsenal had a load of sides throughout the past 15 years.

Swansea - everybody loved watching them a couple of seasons ago.

Spurs until last season were a team I loved to watch. I never admitted it to the couple of friends I have who are Spurs fans as they are very similar to RC in their footballing views

I'm just glad that we now seem to be viewed as that side and for once we're actually being praised by neutrals.

Rodgers (with the vast help of referees) has certainly got the Diverpool squad over achieving this season.

I prefer city all day, their fans arent glory hunters who decided to follow the top team at the time. Fack Liverpool I couldn't care less about them.

==================================

As well as several less points if they were treated less favourably by referees.......nobody sent off this season when they should have had on a number of occasions.....countless soft penalties awarded for dives.....several opposing players red carded etc.

Mind you, referees always have given Liverpool players the benefit of doubt.

Very lucky in terms of injuries? Are you sure? Our whole first team defence have been out for long periods this season, sometimes all at once, hence our problems in that area.

We've had just as many injuries as you have had. We've had two players out for the season, both defenders. One our first choice left back and have had to play a teenager there.

Johnson - our first choice right back has been in and out with injuries.

Sahko our new signing to cure our defensive issues has been out for a long period.

Agger our 'best' centre back has been injured for long periods.

Lucas, Allen, Coutinho, Gerrard, Sturridge etc etc.

Quit your excuses. You've had injuries just like everybody else but you've been poor. Players have underperformed and you've suffered to to poor management right from the top.

-----------------------------

We have had injuries, our record without Suarez is strong, we do have him anyway and the issue of being in Europe is a bit of a fallacy.

Our form this season is pretty similar to our form last season once we had bought Coutinho and Studge.

Even if you take out Suarez's goals then we've still scored 14 more than Spurs and conceded 2 less.

You also seem to be overlooking that this side is very much a team and I feel performed greater than the sum of it's parts.

Just because you want something to be true it does not mean it is.

Just to be clear our injuries have been average. Arsenal would have a point but that's because their players are made of glass.

...countless soft penalties

--------

3 soft pens. One was missed. Spurs had 2 soft pens in the first 5 games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Spurs also had two stonewall pens denied in those first few games, one vs Palace and one vs Swansea
