If the refs had been 'perfect' all season Liverpool would be about 10 points better off

the refs cost us a point and gifted City +2 in the away fixture

the refs cost us a point and gifted Chelsea +2 in the away fixture

If it weren't for shiitte refs the title would be decided in Liverpool's favour by now

The blame was on the fans who watched their family/friends die that day for over 20 years you ignorant prîck

I was one of those fans. Does that mean i am not an angel?

I was 12 years old as were a number of other fans i knew there that day. We were all innocent along with the other 45,000 that attended.

Alan Davies was spot on in what he said. Hillsborough was a terrible tragedy, yet those who contributed to it, just like Hysel, will not accept an ounce of blame.

That's one of the reasons I don't want this nasty club to win the title.

You are aware that the campaign isn't just for the lives that were lost, but because of the media lies aswell. Thatcher not approving of the investigation as to what had happened that day. Policemen took the blood of 14 years olds to check/try and prove that their concentration level of alcohol was high, in a failed attempt to back up the claim. Your son dies in a mass with 95 other people, the next day you read in the papers that they were the main reason for it, with other member disrespecting the bodies of the dead, you're gonna sit on your hands and say we got what we deserve, it was our fault.
Pathetic

hear say

the gates were opened for fans to go in... that's how it works.

You follow instructions by police, stewards etc.

Your logic stinks. Should we blame the Wright brothers for 9/11 ??

don't know where to start with that to be honest. Hillsborough cannot be compared to heysel. Liverpool accepted responsibility for heysel and people were brought to justice over it. with Hillsborough the relatives were told for nearly two decades that it was their own fault that they died. the fight for justice has been commendable. I don't want them to win the title either (only because they are our rivals) but if they do end winning it you can't say they don't deserve it. but if you want to keep your view then your thoughts are your own.

I know that there is a huge percentage of people out there that hate the fight for justice. They see it as a smokescreen to hide any wrong-doing on the fans.

But these people are ignorant. They should ask themselves why on this day did 96 people die. Why didn't fans die in similar fashion on other days?

Did a mass group of murderous fans conveniently turn up on same day?

It was a security flaw which allowed people to walk into an unbeknownst to them, a death trap.

This flaw was covered up and the best way to cover something up is to point the finger at fans who did nothing more than turn up to watch a semi final match.

Conversely, why was there a security flaw on this particular day? Were the security personnel at Hillsborough that different to those at all the other football matches which did not result in tragedy?
Did a group of security men all turn up untrained and wanting to cause havoc?

Like most things concerning this awful tragedy, it is convenient to look at one group rather than the whole picture.

always the victim arent you, too many people in too little space, did all you innocents have tickets?? My understanding is that a gate was opened to relieve the pressure on turnstiles and people piled through, no doubt I will jumped all over for that but I would imagine a fair few had been in the pub all day and saw an opportunity and went for it, like I said before I DON'T blame all the fans BUT SOME of them caused it.

----------------------------------------

I wadsn't the victim. 2 of my best mates were that day though. How insensitve you fool. You don't know what happened so why try and blame someone because it is your understanding???

You have no evidence at all. I do not know anyone in the ground that day that didn't have tickets. It had nothing to do with that at all.

It was to do with the way they policed the outside of the stadium. No segregation. 10,000 fans all pushed into the same area that had around 5 turnstiles.

Maybe you should do your research before you start blaming the dead you imbacile.

The issue with this sensitive subject is that it has become too trivialised and taboo a subject to talk about. Any questioning about any events often gets shot down with insults, but there are still many question marks over what actually happened.

It's frightening the power the media hold. To this day, people believe that there must be some truth in it, because it was in the papers. Fooking imbeciles, shouldn't be allowed to reproduce.

I am more than happy to explain to anyone who wants to know whayt happened on that day and the year before as well. I saw it all with my own eyes not through a newspaper.
