Not sure how that comes across as bitter.

Suarez should also have been sent off and City should have had a pen. Liverpool were very lucky today and aside from the first 25 minutes I thought they were outplayed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We should have had a pen as well. Plus we were due some decisions in our favour after the shambles at the Etihad.

Chelsea fans singing though the minutes silence, a manager that refuses to speak with the Swansea manager as the match ends. Tells you all you need to know about the state of the Chelsea team at the moment.

Real fans cared more about their team which is why they couldn't get rid of Mourinho quick enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bit unfair. The noise was outside the ground apparently. You also won't find any Chelsea supporter who gives a sheet about what happened at Real with Mourinho.
As for the chat, I didn't know that, but so what? Rafa & Kenny could both be a real d|ck on the touch line too.

But thats the mark of a good team being able to win when not at your best. And we beat the most expensively assembled side in the history of the PL. Its not like we scraped a win against a 10 man team languishing near the bottom of the divison

Don't see how that is relevant in any way, TCP.

in my opinion, i think kompany is good against big lumpy strikers but against quick players, he looks lost.

i agree suarez and especially sturridge were quiet today
i think sturridge was desperate to score against city but it didnt happen

at 2-2 i did notice your energy levels dropped off significantly which allowed city to get into the game more and silva was becoming more influential

i think a city goal could have scored again had that kompany mistake not have happened

ifs and buts though, it did happen and you won.

onto the game against us,

i think IF we can shut you out early on which is a big ask I know, i think we can do some damage in the 2nd half when you tire..

Why do they tire ?

Can't wait for next season

It would help your cause if Suarez stopped diving all over the place. We learned that with Drogba.

Mr Chelsea ✪ (U3579)

I'm sure it was energy levels as much as it was nerves. We did the same towards the end of the first half as well. We looked more comfortable at 0-0 and 3-2 than at 2-0. I think the team got a little lost about how to approach it and whether to keep attacking or see it out. It wasnt a great performance, but to play poorly against City and still win says a lot about the team and that there is more to this Liverpool side than just two strikers.

I thought Sterling was superb today, as was Gerrard, although a little isolated in the second half.

I agree with this. He was far less dangerous when he started all that business today.

I couldn't understand it. The match thread were asking for him to be subbed. Its like a darkness comes over him.

Yeah Talksrubbish. Sterling was your best player today.

No one from City seemed to pick him up in the 1st half. I think Silva was player of the 2nd half.

What do you think about the Henderson red? Will it affect your game/team from now on?

It was strange, because he has behaved himself all season. Hope it was just a one off due to all the emotion surrounding the game.

He's a cheat. Just accept it

I wanted Brendan to bring Luis off, but it may have been a master stroke to leave him on because he bucked down and played his way through. That trust can mean a lot to a player like Luis.

I guess the pressure is on and hes feeling it. He was having a poor game so maybe was frustrated. Or maybe he wants to leave again?
