Still not scoring enough for me as a striker,6 goals all year from 35 games, what he's done at sunderland is good, but not brilliant,we need more than that, and at this moment in time,he is not ready to lead our line.
Same age as sturridge, but only half the player at a similar cost.
If Chelsea can't recognise talent like Lukaku or Sturridge, it's stupidity.
He has not been played as an out and out sttriker for most of the season, certainly before Poyet came to Sunderland, but he is a grafter and he does have decent movement.
Not a great scorer of goals but a scorer of great goals.
Hoping for a couple at the weekend
Come on Fabio!
He's dumped Man Utd out of the league cup, caused City to drop points, and cleared off the line v Everton. He does love the big games.

Really? Sturridges attitude was terrible at chelsea, he was a selfish arrogant and petulant. We had to sell him. Not convinced on Lukaku. Not world class.

He fell out with other player's, he moaned, groaned, huffed, argued, remonstrated and sulked nearly every match he played and list the support of alot of loyal support. He was also incredibly greedy, even for a forward. Alienated himself then let some quotes to the press. All in all, a bad egg. Same as a City, no coincidence. Maybe he's found his hone now. Good luck to him. But we weren't stupid to let him go. There was far more than that.

Funny how whitewall can cast aspersions like that over Sturridge when he doesn't even know the bloke, or worked with him.
Of course if you saw yourself v Torres and knew you were better but weren't played just because Torres cost more you're entitled to have a little sulk.
Whitewall hadn't even seen Sturridge play up close anyway so is talking from a blind perspective.
Whitewall....you could be talking about torres in his last 2yrs at liverpool there.

Oh yeah, that really makes a lot is sense
Common knowledge at Chelsea. Believe it or not, whatever

Common knowledge with all the turnover of staff?
Whitewall talking a load of crap, not just any crap, but cliched crap!
I like Borini, but he wasn't on the pitch when Sunderland scored their first, so I'm not sure how he can claim an assist?
On topic, I agree that he hasn't scored enough but he really is feeding on scraps over there. We all know the improvement BR has made with the other players in his care so I don't feel we should be so quick to write Borini off. He certainly has the work ethic / application to make it here.
Borini to score "for" Liverpool at the weekend v Chelsea.
Would be brilliant, especially as Mourinho loaned out Lukaku and sold Mata to take points off other clubs.
