The whole show that Jose and Rui put on after the game was disgraceful and does nothing for our club other than paper over what was a dire display.

There was no passion or fight

It feels so much better to just accept the fact that this is going to be Liverpool's year and they deserve it having played the best football.

That's not to say that their season hasn't been that been made easier due to no European football distraction, very little pressure as well as having arguably the best player in the world this season in their team.

Either way it's time to roll our sleeves up and concentrate on the Athletico game. That's all that matters now.

With no (or much less) Anfield distraction we now have a better chance of getting past Athletico if our players turn it on and if we can get to the Final then anything can happen with Jose in charge.
