Bellerin. Lad is gonna be huge.

forgot about him too. More reason not to buy a top young RB. A Piczeck or someone 27+ would be nice but I don't mind Sagna staying at all.

Fair enough, for me, as much as i'd love him to, and last season I believed he would, especially after the start he had, best RB in the league at the start of the season until he was unfairly dropped, it just looks every time he has played like he isn't developing as a footballer.

Difference is, if Shaw does go to United, he will be starting. As long as Sagna is here, he will be starting.

Abate is out of contract in the Summer, as you say
I rate him very highly, but I fear his lack of aerial presence might cost the side were he to replace Sagna.

Seriously don't understand the criticisms of Jenkinson.

When he was playing consistently at the start of last season, people were talking about him as being one of our best performers in our side until Sagna returned from injury.

He's tall, very quick, excellent in one-on-one defensive situations, is willing to take his man on when our 'wideman' has cut inside, and his crosses are good.

His heading technique needs some work, and he could do with a bit more composure (which would likely come with match practise), but otherwise, I think he is an excellent right-back.

With game time he won't look out of place just like when he did fill in, as I've just said if Flanagan can start to look pretty adept with the league leaders playing OUT OF POSITION, I don't see why a better prospect in Jenkinson can't come good with us

I like Jenkinson but Sagna is so many levels above him. Best RB in England.

He can't really develop since playing once every 2 months I think he'll be utilised a lot more next season if Sagna stays and I believe eventually will step into his shoes

Let's see how he does against the Ox in a couple of months.

Yeah don't forget it's not just about the attacking capabilities of these suggested RB's it's how complete they are which Sagna was, we also use Sagna's aerial ability quite often from goal kicks and so on so we need to pretty much have a like for like, at 6'1 Jenkinson who's quite complete albeit extremely raw can come in.

He's better defensively than some of your suggestions I feel and will do well given time

If Abate plays against Chamberlain, I reckon he could keep the winger quite quiet.

Chamberlain's main strength is his pace, upper body strength, and balance, allowing him to drive past his opponents, but these also happen to be among Abate's greatest attributes. Would certainly be an interesting contest.

Glad to keep Sagna but it's definitely time for Jenks to be brought through. I thought he done brilliantly whilst Sagna was injured and has shown that he has got what it takes to compete at the highest level. I'd like to see games almost evenly split between he and Sagna next season, with a view to Sagna becoming the backup or leaving for the following one.

Jenkinson is both good enough and ready IMO to be transitioned into 1st choice RB and if we don't do it next season, I think he'll be gone for sure. Looked too competent when he did replace Sagna so I'm sure some smaller teams will come a calling and if he has to wait behind Sagna again, he'll probably go just so he gets to play more.

Also at times this season, Sagna's looked exhausted. In that sense of the will is there but the older body just can't hack the pace as well, he won't be able to overlap Theo much longer
