The thing with Whitewall is you never know which form will turn up, he's a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde type character
--------
You're absolutely right. He wants to talk football but often descends into a touch of wummery. I think most of us do the same. Only difference is that he camps out on the LFC board and enjoys getting a rise out of people (which is a little sad) while most football focused posters will just be up for the banter. He sways between banter and knôb. I feel that his knôb is just a tiny tiny bit of who he is. He wants to be sound but can't help breaking out the wee knôb
Poor old white..bless him.
As for the score....i think lfc will win. studge will be back i think added to sterling and suarez added to cfc mind being on the cl added to cfc injuries and banned players added to lfc really wanting to fk maureen over....5-0 then

and I am not glad you're back in Europe because I'd idiots like you, GB. ARE, Etc who can't help yourselves from bigging yourselves up all over the place.

If we can't do it when we are top of the league, then when can we? We don't know how long it will last so we will enjoy it while we can.
You complain about LFC fans bigging up their team, on the LFC board mainly it should be noted, yet you seem to spend hours every day on our board. If you don't like it, don't come on here, it's pretty simple.

Have a look on our board for articles about Liverpool or any other rivals (apart from Utd, that's a given) and they will be rare. Done couple myself over the season but compare that to your board and articles about Chelsea. It's ridiculous. So a few of us feel obliged to wum on over to attempt to defend our club.
That's a forum for you. That's why I'm here.
Sometimes as Belmonty says I may wum on Liverpool articles as well, but I have pretty much always maintained that I hope you don't win the league because of some of your supporters, I've acknowledged what a great season you've had and that you deserve the title.
There's not much to talk about on the Spurs board
Didn't someone refute that there is any disadvantage to playing in the CL
------------------
Nobody refuted it. We refuted the idea that we are only top because of having no European football.
CL football has its advantages and disadvantages. More games but better squad, better players wanting to play for you but the possibility of more injuries/tiredness. Look at your "weaker" team, it's better than some first teams in the top 6 (Spurs )

This isn't a wum, but I honestly believe the CL will be difficult for two reasons for you next season. League form whilst juggling trophy challenges and your hung ho style of football. If BR can adopt a more pragmatic plan b but also improve your squad depth and quality then you can compete. But like under Benny when he knew the squad wasn't good enough to cope with all demands, he went all out for the cl and cups, finishing 25-35 points off the top at times. Thus was OK when you could still make top four but now there are more teams competing.
No cl is not the reason you will win the league. It has helped, so has City massively underperforming again. Plain truth is, you may well win the league by winning 13 out of your last 14 games. That's why. Consistency like no other team this season. Totally unexpected.
White....on benny. it was essentially because he was handicapped, had to sell to buy under g&h. under fsg we will crucially add without selling. in fact.i can see lfc having a big squad like cfc and city, maybe even better since we are a bigger club with eurooean prestige.....and yes it does count IF you r in the CL as well.

Yep. But they aren't the answer either though. Its actually quite hard to fathom that apart fro say Gudjohnsen, Drogba, Anelka, we've never got the striker options right in the Abramovich era. Its normally the area billionaire owners make sure they get sorted in the kudos stakes. But we really have facked up in that dept for ages. Fackin Eto. He's 49!

You need the dough to gave a better squad than us but not a bigger one. Interesting to see what investment is provided. Winning the league may still not attract the top top talent though. We struggle against the Luke's of OSG, Monaco, Real, Barca etc can't see it being any different for you.
I fully expect us to buy some good players this season, and maybe one or two quality players. If rumours are to believed we have a fair amount of money to spend this summer, so hopefully squad depth and strength won't be too much of a problem. We should be able to cope with the extra games.
BR is good manager and will have a plan. Whilst we have been gung-ho in a lot of games, we've also played well defensively in others. 5-1 to Arsenal and 3-0 to Utd, both Champions League level opposition (well Utd are sort of). If Moyes can get Utd to the QFs then I reckon we can do ok too.

I think the most important thing for Liverpool next season is top four again. Its vital. Cups are icing, but to re qualify is massive particularly with an expected Utd recovery, us and city maintaining. I hate this top four trophy nonsense but not being in it is a massivee blow, we nearly facked it up but some how fluked the CL. We wouldn't have got Hazard for example.

It's Luuk De Jong.
It's amazing that people think we've forgotten how the CL and playing in multiple competitions work, I'm pretty sure none of us think it's going to be plain sailing, however, we knew that top 4 was the target for this season so we will have been planning with that in mind, it's not come as a shock.
The nature of our season can only go in our favour, we've played attractive and attacking football and will finish the season amongst the highest scoring teams in europe (currently the highest), already qualified for the group stages.
Whoever gets 4th will be at a disadvantage because of the CL qualifiers in the transfer market.
as for united, they'll have their own struggles next year, it's not a given that they'll be challenging, spending big and a new manager does not equal success, my feeling is that it's still a very toxic atmosphere at ot, like chelsea, they might struggle to attract the right kind of players because of it but whatever happens they'll likely pay through the nose for the privilege.
We still have to finish this season, the title isn't anyone's yet, still 3 games to go and everything to play for
Whatever happens between now and the end of the season I get the feeling that next season is going to one to remember too.
I was going to have a catch up on all comments but then I thought I read a comment from a Chelsea fan complaining about another clubs players diving and realised I must still be asleep.
