5 Loud mouthed Ocker Aussie's from Me LV
There will be more than a few shocked & very surprised 'Town' fans who watch this one...And the realization of what the modern term '12th man' entails.
At times the football will be from one end of the entertainment scale to the other. But this won't affect the outpouring of emotion from the fans..especially the Sydney mob.
If Olive Oil manages to watch this game, he'll realize that by comparison, he's the owner of an old car that used to be worth something, but yet despite his efforts this car is well past it's best, & is nothing more than a drain on his wallet. One that is going to give him very little, if any, emotional satisfaction again.
re the last comments on the previous thread & the extension to try & persuade more to come forward & buy season cards.
They are desperate, they are worried, and they haven't a clue what else to do. despite many voicing ideas to literally jump start this club back into life.
Who watched Grimsby v Gateshead last night ?
there was just 5 thousand there !!!
When was the last time an atmosphere like that was generated at 'Udders to try and encourage the team ...'our' team on to victory ?????
I was at the home 1st leg tie v Millwall. 15 thou turned out I think. Never mind the score. It was a nothing event. If we can't/won't get excited at the prospect of having a crack at a final....when then ?
I believe the Germans & Russians were the 1st to add fluoride to the water supplies in the work camps to subdue the inmates....
are you guys drinking it wholesale
Anyway Come on MIRF !
get this Watford thread up them...It's 7am.
What ya doin' liged i bed wak'n
(I'll bet Walt is going to Cambridge on Sunday instead )
Close to kick off, I take it the Pomies aren't watching Darn.
😂 Cilla Slack sang the national anthem, you couldn't make this up! 😊
Yes Darn, I'm watching the telecast, one hour behind. 😳
Full time 1-1, going to extra time.
Second period of extra time...Brisbane score their second, 2-1. 👎
Ref blows full time, Brisbane Roar win the Grand Final!
Western Wanderers were four minutes from winning until Roar equalised. I feel for 'em, unlucky WSW. 😭
The atmosphere created by both sets of fans was marvellous.
The football imo was very poor. Both these sides were capable of far better than that.
The pre match 'entertainment' (I use the term with contempt) & hullabaloo presentation at the end spoils it for me. They may as well fly the stars & stripes & play 'the land of the Dumb & The home of the slave' & have done with it.
That game just now between Cambridge & Halifax was far more entertaining to me.
quicker all round.
far more urgency.
Ex Town goalie Glennon played well & kept Fax in it.
But Cambridge were the better side this afternoon.
As much as Halifax pressed forward, They never looked like they could open up that Cam united defense .
A fantastic advert for non league football.
