As Mark Knopfler said in 'Private Investigations'….
"It's in me diary"
I only hope your headbanging fans tear the place down before they leave... disgusting blot on the cityscape
Not attending 666? Thought we might duet ....
666 is a duet in his own right.
I don't like your playlist, Moj...
Beatles "All You Need Is Clough"
Peter and Gordon "A World Without Clough"
Jackson 5 "The Clough You Save"
Diana Ross & Lionel Richie "Endless Clough"
Huey Lewis & The News "The Power of Clough"
Robert Palmer "Addicted to Clough"
Madonna "Justify My Clough"
Meat Loaf "I Would Do Anything for Clough"
Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris "We Found Clough"
Gary Barlow "Forever Clough"
Cheryl Cole "Fight for this Clough"
Black Eyed Peas "Where is the Clough?"
Wet Wet Wet "Clough Is All Around"
Aerosmith's "Clough In An Elevator" may be more up Moj's street....
Can't you find another subject on which to vent your spleen 666. Nigel Clough is yesterday. He left some decent players and we have moved on.
You missed out the one on the album...
You HAVE seen the music on the album before you spouted off, haven't you, Spart...?
It's set in an era, Clough's era, and therefore it's relevant. You know that song by The Special AKA "Free Nelson Mandela"? Well that's still about wanting Nelson Mandela freed if you listen to it today. Spurs? They're not on their way to Wembley, and Ossie is NOT going to do it again, but you'd never know it listening to their track from 1981.
Trust this helps
Justify Madonna's clough.Who eck.
666. It's a good point, actually. When I was asked to do this, I had to consider the obvious dating of it...it is a snapshot of 2009, also looking back on our history from that point. I wondered about changing words, but it is being performed in the context if the memorabilia exhibition. The CD is now part of that, so I'll be doing them pretty much 'as is' ...but I think I'll have to give the nod to some of our current first team in one of the songs at least!
New song for the new team, I say!
As you say, history is just that and whilst 'dated' might be relevant in certain contexts, a memorabilia exhibition warrants authenticity.
For old times' sake then, Clough OUT
I have one in the pipeline
Any chance of getting Kris Commons to come along, Kev?
I understand there'll be food.
Or a few Leeds fans? I'm sure I can get my hands on a sack of horseshit.
I like your thinking Eddie!
Sorry for delay Moj.
It's in the diary
Are you paying me writers royalties Kev - I should be able to get there so let's have some fun
