Well done Brewers ! I am still pinching myself ,thought at half time we might have blown it , but i think it seemed to work in our favour ,we couldnt sit back and had to play a more open game ,and we caused them problems . Southend are a good side on their day but we more than matched them ,im so pleased for Ben ,the management team and the players . I felt a little sorry for Zander ,he looked as though he didnt really belong when everyone was celebrating ,but who knows he may still have a role to play in the final.

A great result today lads. The Brewers will just not lie down. It been 2 steps forwards and 1 step back at times this season and very frustrating at times, but I must give GR and the boys full credit , because when they dig their heels in they are so hard to beat.

Just got home after an extended stay in Southend and a slow drive home which involved taking the wrong turn about 10 times. Glad I did that on the way there and not the way back.
