Rio is a different case, he tackled and he was pretty damn good at it, thats why he didnt commit many fouls.
I guessed united fans would know the different between someone who is excellent at tackling and someone who always cower away from them, guess not

Carrick is not a very good tackler, If someone who is not a very good tackler playing in a DM role, youd expect him to pickup few cards along the way. the fact he hasnt picked up a red means he hasnt been tackling as much as he should be

I actually read it in the newspaper back in the day. I remember reading it and thinking what a shame it was that it had happened so late in his career. Must have been an inaccurate story.
Lineker was never cautioned by a referee for foul play and never received a yellow or red card. As a result of this accomplishment he was honoured in 1990 with the FIFA Fair Play Award.
