I think that would be considered retro, which in turn is considered to be fashionable, and therefore not in any way indie.
I think adults wearing replica shirts is a bit sad if I am honest...

the reason it doesn't apply in sport, or to men, is that women are absolutely frigging insane, and act without reason, logic or common sense. but they look hot in footbal shirts
