Nope you are missing my point
reactions of players etc usually convey when the incident is truely serious.
Phsyio's know when it's serious, players and ref's do too.
I see the whole diving, play acting as a massive issue but not a H&S one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So straight away you knew Neymar was in trouble ? I thought within a few seconds he would be back up and running about again.
I've seen some fantastic 'bits' of football in this WC. I say bits, because, as is said here, fouling and diving have distracted attention away from good football. There's no easy answer, other than retrospective punishment which could be near impossible to govern.

OP
Diving has been a problem at World Cups for ages now
Really does your head in
Brazil were shocking last night when it came to diving
When Carragher nailed Nani, the Liverpool players were swarming over him for playacting
In this case he clearly wasn't but you can't blame the Liverpool players for thinking he was
That reputation, he earned himself
So straight away you knew Neymar was in trouble ?
How would me knowing be better for him?
What does that matter, the players and physio did.

It does not matter if we know or not because there is nothing we can do, but if the ref does not stop the game because he thinks the player is acting, and the player then has a serious injury there could be repercussions, should the responsibility lie with the player ? Also, do you think this could be used as a deterrent for diving ?

If you want a serious debate then no Neymar does not deserve a broken back for diving.
Quicker treatment would not have prevented his back being broken, reactions of players etc usually convey when the incident is truely serious.
It's 6 of one and a bakers dozen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So it's 6 of one and 13????
For the record it's 'Prima donna', not 'pre madonna'
It is funny, but then again most people haven't seen it spelled so i can forgive it

Also how does that work?
HE didn't fracture his vertibrae after the incident

Well he would have struggled to fracture all of them.
Fracturing a single vertebra is much more plausible

In fairness, the only injuries that require urgent medical attention are usually those where the player is non-responsive, so the original concern is unlikely to be an issue.
Generally if a player is screaming - be it faking or not - waiting 30 seconds to be seen is not going make any difference whatsoever.
I have done what Neymar did before - it hurts, but it's not that bad.

"Every time someone went down and it wasn't a foul, refs should automatically book them"
That can't work - it's perfectly plausible for people to go down under a challenge that isn't a foul.
