Not by my judgement. Alexis is better IMO too, even if a ST may have been more important.

Fair enough I think considering the difference in positions its hard to compare them unless done in the context of what we needed as a team thus why I said Cavani is worth more, not that hes necessarily a better player.
There is no chance of Cesc flopping for example.

While I don't think he will flop to say there is no chance of Cesc flopping is fallacious, he could pick up a serious injury which could permanently effect his ability.
Cesc will be playing deeper and as such a clever counter attacking team should target him. For all of Cesc's talent further forward, positional discipline and tackling are not his strengths. Thats why Barca always played him further forward and never considered him to replace Xavi. Ironic because that was the reason given by Barca to why he was bought.
