See Mighty it can be done. A reasonable well structured calm article. Unlike the one's put up last night by certain parties.
This is a work in progress and it's still only August yet the knee jerkers are relegating us already.
It has gone past many that the team were matching Watford until the sending off.
I hope Massimo Cellino will give Hockaday more time and I hope he brings in Sloth and/or Adryan PDQ so they can be moulded into the team. The team needs to be settled, we've not played two games with the same lineup..!
It's too early to write off the season.
Tbh I thought Byram was the weak link yesterday. He gets caught out of position too much and Tonge was often having to cover
Agree, very good article with the added insight over most of us that you were at the game(s).
Hockaday was a time bomb, though I agree its unfair to him after 4 games. With a club like Leeds (or others with expectation, whether it should be the case or not) you need the right fit.
Intelligent and well written article
We were OK until the meltdown after the sending off. Roll on the international break to give Hock some time to gel the new squad. New players are great for headlines, but team-building ?
We are currently playing as individuals cobbled together, as though we haven't met each other, we need to settle down and be a team.
All of us were surprised at Mr Hockaday's appointment but he's our coach and he's ours until he goes. He deserves our support. In the same vein we deserve to be entertained.
Massimo Cellino needs to stand by his man, it was his decision to take him on. Sadly he's between a rock and a hard place now through his own making. If he sacks him there will be them that deride him for reverting to form and if he keeps him and shows loyalty to his earlier decision he'll be derided for being stubborn.
Work in progress. I say stand by him and give him time to gel the team together.
Time for Massimo to man up.
What ? We scored without having a single shot on target ?
I think the main defence of team and manager is that when you lose players and bring in a lot more it does genuinely take time for it all to gel
That is true. Plus we gave seen some of the new players do seen to have something about them
Don't know how long coachaway will get but we won't be able to judge the squad for 1-2 months
Cheers Mighty Leeds
Good Article
Well said.
When I saw sixty odd percent possession I was pleased but worried about no shots on target.
10 games is still my point of deciding on Hock. Not sure he will get there though.

A team that can score a goal without taking a shot must be one hell of a team, sign of times to come when we do have shots at goal.
Saw the highlights, didn't think Bellusci's red card was a foul, not from what I saw on highlights. Let's hope they contest it.
Work in progress, but Doc Hoc has got to stop picking Pearce, Austin and Murphy and, stop making stupid sub decisions.
Mighty fantastic offering. The usual suspects ran riot yesterday, as their seemingly strange wish for us to lose opened up smuggy bragging opportunities.
I say this because, the "fans" who subscribe to this treachery, ignore the fact that we played a level above or matched Watford for 45 minutes!!
The team is still very green, and we are only 4 games in! These so called fans have decided that they are going to miss these facts and continue to bleat negative, overly reacting and unbalanced trash.
They want credibility as posters, but don't offer up credible opinions.
Someone needs to tell this mighty character that this is no place for reasoned argument.
The midfield has been the problem forever. I keep hearing moaning that he doesn't change the midfield players and/or the formation. Maybe, just maybe he watches them everyday in training, and thinks these are the best he's got. Maybe just maybe, he and his boss are committed to the diamond, and thinks you need to persevere with it.
We've been rubbish, it's not good enough, I'm happy to believe that the hock won't be good enough, but think the guy is on a hiding to nothing, and whilst a change of manager/coach sometimes invigorates a dejected team (they have a fresh outlook and a bit of optimism and are playing for their lives), this is still largely the same team that was just as rubbish last year.
Great stuff Mighty, cheers
Very good article. We are a work in progress as stated above. I like the new players. And agree with stoopo
Over Pearce, Murphy, and Austin. Not what's going to
Happen to Hock?
Hock should never have been appointed so it was inevitable he would not last long. The question is who goes first Hock or the Fulham manager
Good article though

His decision to take out our best chance of a goal(Sharp) and leave Murphy on who was looking increasingly lost. Some crazy kind of logic there, unless he was under orders from above.

Just to add to the gloom, I think the goalie has lost confidence, but who wouldn't after the results so far.
Whiterose, I think orders from above or getting him game time/match fitness because the game was lost!? Can't be the last.
Bradford City Weds night, Ideal time to give the Young midfield players a chance ?

Do you mean you didn't think the foul should have been a red card? I think there is a chance that it could get turned over if appealed.
Take it on the chin, we move on.
