you need to re watch some of the performances he put in for us.. The guy was a rock when he stayed disciplined and sat in front of the back 4.
spent too much time watching him from the stands
slow, in-disciplined, egotistical.
only looked good because he had fabregas helping him out.

I'm not saying he's a world beater but I'd certainly take him as IMO he's better than our other defensive midfield options and he's only 26 still.

Neither Flamini nor Arteta are anywhere near good enough. That said, neither is Song. A midfield player who has already shown us what he can do in this league; the square root of very little.
