I wonder if Borini was on of them told they could find another club and was given warning? Or was the plan all along to accept any bids for him and hope he rejected the moves.
Not playing/being able to sell his first buy as a big time manager must be frustrating, especially as he looked close to a net profit on him.....its all about the net spend
 
                    
                                
               
                                      
                      
                     my take on it is that he deliberately priced himself out of the market. That being the case, Brendan should give him a try. You never know, he might score goals!! For me he is certainly in front of Lambert in the pecking order.
