This will be my first game of the season so I am really looking forward to it! I reckon we may be on a high and Im going for a 3-1 win! I am interested to see the NSL and whether it makes any difference to the atmosphere.

Players wise I am looking forward to seeing Coady and Hudson most of the new guys, sounds like they are the spine of our team from now on.

The Mantra for this Sat IS .. 'ITS A LOCK OUT' and reading the above Posts Jacko (imo) comes closest to Powells Abiding Aim this w/end ..

A CLEAN (Bed) SHEET is ALL He's Looking for and my guess is he's spent all week Drilling that defence PURELY with that objective in mind ..

I've been to a charity signing day down at canalside today and asked Gerrard if he was fit and he said he's getting there, so that's good. I really hope he's back soon as I think we've missed him.

I also think Butterfield will feel he has a point to prove so hopefully that will work to our benefit.
